Sharon has always been fascinated by the traditional arts, such as spinning, weaving, chair caning and basket making.  She has no formal art education, but moving back to the family farm in 1976 introduced her to a wealth of people that did many of those crafts.  They handed down their crafts from generation to generation and were willing to teach her.  She and her husband started raising fiber animals in 1984, including Angora Goats, Llamas and sheep.  She has added a studio and shoppe at the farm to sell yarns, fibers, knitted and woven items.  These include hats, rugs, scarves, baskets, and a variety of other creations.  She also participates in several local art and craft shows.
